Chuck Dube is a member of Lund Boats pro-staff through participation on Hoots Sports walleye fishing pro-staff. Hoots Sports is based in Perham, MN, which is in the north-central part of the state. Though they are based in a rural part of the state, they are one of Lund Boats top dealers measured by the volume of boats sold. This quality dealership provides outstanding service on the boats it sells along with competitive pricing. They also offer a full line of Mercury, Yamaha, and Evinrude outboard motors. If you are considering buying a boat, please contact Chuck Dube as he is interested in sharing his experience in running these quality brands.

The rear live well has a large capacity to hold your catch of the day!The boat of choice for Chuck Dube is Lund's 1900 Pro-V SE. This boat features the Integrated Power Strake (IPS) 2 hull, which provides one of the smoothest and driest rides available in an aluminum boat today. The interior has a roomy layout that offers much comfort and convenience. One of Chuck's favorite features is the in-floor rod locker storage system with the capacity to hold 10 rods. Also, the ProLong Plus rear live well has a large capacity to hold your catch of the day, along with a thru-hull freshwater pickup system. Finally, Chuck's younger family members favorite feature is the high-pressure hose Wash Down System for keeping the boat clean while on the water.

A 225 HP Mercury Optimax outboard motor with SmartCraft Gauges powers Chuck's Lund boat. This direct injected engine provides superb power and fuel efficiency for the 1900 Pro-V SE. The reliability and versatility of this motor is second to none. For trolling, Chuck relies on the Mercury 9.9 HP 4-stroke kicker motor to maintain optimal speed when trolling for walleyes.

For walleye fishing, Chuck relies on Lowrance Electronics to navigate his Lund boat and help locate fish. His 2006 boat is equipped with a LCX 111C HD Sonar/Navigational unit on the dash and a LCX 25C on the bow of the boat. These color units provide exceptional display detail for locating fish on the bottom of the water column and for navigational charting. These units provide the perfect combination of price and quality and are a true value.

When Chuck needs to control his boat from the bow for live bait presentations, he relies on a Minnkota CoPilot 80 lb. trolling motor to keep him on top of his fish. This trolling motor provides much versatility as it can be set on AutoPilot to troll toward a specific target, or be controlled manually from any where in the boat with the CoPilot remote control device. The 80 lb. motor provides the necessary power to move the Lund 1900 Pro-V successfully through current and wind.

The Lund 1900 Pro-V is safely brought to the water on Prestige Trailer's matching BTV (boat transport vehicle.) These trailers are the best trailing (torsion axles) and easiest loading (six bunks), and require the least maintenance of any on the market. The careful design and quality control in building the trailer insures the durability and strengh that Chuck requires for pulling his boat around the Midwest for his tournament events.

Denise enjoying the outdoorsChuck's tournament fishing endeavors would not be possible without the loving support of his wife Denise and children Christian, Faith, and Grace. Denise is learning to enjoy the outdoors along with developing her skills as an angler. Son Christian looks forward to being old enough to fish team tournaments with Chuck and some day becoming a professional walleye fisherman himself. Daughters Faith and Grace already enjoy their time on the boat and keeping Dad in bait.
